ABOUT
The tUTOR

Who am I?

I am a Japanese teacher graduated from Sophia University in Tokyo.  Since 2013 I have been teaching Japanese for IB Language A (Literature) to Japanese high school students studying in different Swiss boarding schools, such as Regent Crans-Montana College, Aiglon College, Le Rosey or le Collège du Léman.

I have been fully trained and certified by the IB workshops to teach Language A with the latest curriculum.  It means that I know exactly what skills my students should develop so that they can efficiently perform in their essay writing, oral presentation and final written exams.  All of my former students obtained excellent results.

I have equally successful experience of preparing IGCSE and French Baccalaureate students for their Japanese exams as a foreign language.

In recent years, I worked as a freelance translator / interpreter.  For example, I translated many Japanese pages of the website of Swiss public broadcasting.  I was also employed as an      interpreter for teachers at the University of Tsukuba, Teikyo University, and the University of Tokyo, who jointly researched the Swiss education system.

Moreover, I published a Japanese language course on Udemy, the world's largest online education platform, and I obtained the labels "highest rating" and "bestseller".
